Now that is an excellent point ;-) I would tend to say no, which would
mean, in the words of a certain gnome developer, that this might be a
"crack feature" that could be removed.

I would feel the same about the gtk keyboard theme, but as we are in
deep feature freeze for 4.0 this will all need to be discussed at some
later time ;-)
