Enlarging a window from the top

There are other ways to change the size of the window, though. Try 
holding ALT and right-click-and-drag in the window. To move the window 
use ALT and left-click-and-drag.

Xfwm is full of fun little surprises like that. For example to move a 
window without raising it (something I use a lot), use 
right-click-and-drag on the title bar.
