new user - two questions

Hi there

Just discovered xfce and it looks really cool (been using icewm for over
two years). But I have two things I cannot figure out:

1) How do I disable the confirmation on exit?

2) I need a battery monitor, and I found xfce4-battmon-0.1.0.tar.gz. It
refuses to ./configure cause it can't find "gdk-2.0". Does anyone know
in which debian-package these are before I download like a mad? Also,
did I get a hold of the latest tarball, or is there another/better way
to get a battery monitor than this???
