What do you think about a forum?

Because, I have only modem 56k connection, i prefer mailing list, it is
quicker to get all messages at a time and read it  later, and organize
it as I want.
I can search in messages with my mailer if I want... And if most of
repetitive questions are in faq...

So, a forum, why not, but only in addition of the mailing list, please.
