Settings window BLANKED

Good night!

I just finished to install xfce-4.0. I build it from the source, in my
slackware 9.1 box. The wm works fine, but one important detail is
missing: the "Settings Window", loads without any icon, without any
information. I can't use it. I search in the FAQ, google and find
nothing :(

Who can help me?
