Upgrade of xfce and slackware

I have just upgraded my slackware from 9.0 to 9.1 and xfce from 3.8.18 to 4.0.1.

The slackware upgrade was amazingly easy but the xfce one was slightly more
difficult.

The difficulty was that xfce4 needs the libstartup-notification-1.so library and
this is on the second slackware CD in the gnome packages directory which I
hadn't installed.  As I have lots of space I just installed gnome as well and
now xfce4 is up an running.

Maybe the non-base-system dependencies should be made more explicit.
