xfprint4 problem

Thanks for the tip; I've always used the -P flag when printing.

However, modifying the .bashrc as you suggested,

bash-2.05b$ echo $PRINTER
Brother

and setting the system in xfprint-manager to "lpr", still results in the 
same error message.
