search tool problems (xfce4)

hi , 
i have some problems with the find tool of xffm :

if i look for files that the name begin with "index" 
( i fill  the 'file filter' field with "index*" )
then i start the search , it says me " Nothing Found ..." 
( in xffm )

but if i try the same search with "find" , in command line with this
command :

find /home/rktmb '!' -type d -name 'index*'

I get many results .. so ... any hints to help me to have that great
feature ? :-)
