font problem?

Ok, if I must guess at the reason I would say it is caused by the
upgrade of XFree86 from 4.2 to 4.3. XFree86 4.3 includes Xft2 and I
think this may break xfce3 when it is compiled with Xft support.

As I said, it's just a guess,
