Login problem

Hi!
Thanks for a splendid job creating xfce4! I have installed the rh9 rpms 
from sourceforge.net on my redhat 9 system. When login to my home 
account bash_profile failed to be executed. Is it just me and my bad 
understanding about bash or is it something xfce are doing wrong? Path´s 
listed in bash_profile are not recognized. Something to do? Thanks in 
advance.
