Hello Bernhard,
Sorry about that, I thought I cleaned up my switches. Edit the file
panel-plugin/Makefile.am and remove the offending lines from
libsysinfo_la_CFLAGS . You need to keep at least "@XFCE4_PANEL_CFLAGS@
-DIS_PLUGIN=TRUE" for the library to compile and work.
