installation failed

I operate under SuSE 8.2.  I downloaded the following packages to a
separate directory, and then, as su, entered yast2 -i *:

gtk-xfce-engine-2.1.2-1suse82.i386.rpm
xfce-mcs-manager-3.99.1-1suse82.i386.rpm
xfce-mcs-plugins-3.99.1-1suse82.i386.rpm
xfce-utils-3.99.1-1suse82.i386.rpm

I rebooted and looked for xfce in the KDE desktop applications menu, to
no avail.  I entered KDE, opened a terminal and entered "xfce", again to
no avail.

What am I missing?
