Control of font size on app menus and locator boxes

Ouch. Tough question. You have just pointed out one of the weaknesses of
X. What you are asking for is toolkit dependent. IIRC, GTK2 apps can be
controlled from the settings manager 'UI' dialog.

As for the others, you'll have to RTFM.
