i concur with the others re Xcdroast, but don't be too mean re KDE !
unless you have a real space constraint, it's worth having it around
st you can use some of its pgms, eg Konqueror, games & (for you) K3B .

BTW a CAVEAT re Xcdroast:
it's veeerrry slow to start, if you don't put a CD in the drive.
