Changing default terminal.

Modify the environment variable TERMCMD

I put the following in my /.bashrc

# Set terminal for XFCE
export TERMCMD="gnome-terminal"

Change the terminal command from "gnome-terminal" to whatever console
application you wish to use.

As a second step, you may wish to modify the TERM variable in the XFCE
Settings Manager for XFFM (File Manager). Also set that to whatever
console app you wish to use and then when using XFFM, you will get that
instead of xterm.
