I had never realised this until it was mentioned in this thread, and it's
good to know this - but still not as easy to use as a simple drawer button
type  :-)  It just seems cleaner to me to have a simple click bring up the
menu than to hunt for the tiny menu popup, or to click-hold (especially if
it's as long as 2 seconds).

It's not about features, just access to them.
