xfce environment switching (was XFCE does not kill ...)

Nice concept Oliver.
So ... how can we do environment switching in XFCE ?
For example, I want to switch from XFCE (xffm to be exact) to IceWM without 
logging out.
I guess we have to :
- kill xffm, xfdesktop, xfce4-panel
- start IceWM.

The question is, who does that ?
