You can also press the goto button and type "//remote_box" where
remote_box is the netbios name of the problem server. That will
unconditionally put the box in the network branch where you can open it
to see the shares.
As I recall, the computer does not show because it does not list itself
within the list of workgroup boxes. The patch applied should include the
box and make it appear in the upper pane anyway (just as a goto
command). Please uninstall xffm before reinstalling since there may be a
library mixup. If things still do not work, try compiling with the
--enable-debug option and see why smb/smb_list.c is not listing your
master browser. It should.
