panel and backdrop

HI again ,
I found the way to have more "buttons" on my panel but now the panel is not centered .
which file do describe the position of the panel on the screen ?
Is it possible to show/hide it ? ( I have a 14" monitor )

about the "backdrop image" ... it is a 800x600 jpeg img that i'm trying to have as wallpaper .

Why is it called "backdrop" but not wallpaper or background image ?
I used xfdb -i to set my "wallpaper " .

I know i'm very tiring with my questions , but i really enjoy this WM
 and dont wanna change ...
