xftree quesiton

when browsing folders with xftree, if i double click on a folder i get the
expanded tree view with the parent tree still showing. if i use the alt+g
combo i only see the selected folders tree without the parent tree's
showing. is there anyway to change the behavior of the double click to the
alt+g behavior?

xfce-3.8.18 is what i am running.
