Weird issue on xfce

Hello again list,

Now that's a new one.

When I log in as root, I get my prefered xfce panel(I've compiled xfce
with the "--enable-old-style" switch) which is Coloured buttons with the
"Iceland" set of colours.
However, when I log in as a plain user, the system comes with "Iceland"
but the button colours are the same :-(

Any ideas ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
