  Heh! I've seen this rumor before. :-) It doesn't work for me; never has.
Do I have to add something to ~/.xfce/xfwmrc?

  Once, a few upgrades ago, I discovered -- by trial and error -- a set of
keystrokes that actually took me from desktop to desktop. in 3.8.18 nothing
works.
