gtk problem (I think)

hi,

When I select another gtk theme engine in the Setup window, nothing
seems to change... Currently it's set to ThinIce, and no matter what I
try, the colors or widgets don't change if I set a different gtk
engine... I can change the colors manually though...

What could be the problem?
