Because the tarball contains the image of the CVS server, which is
definitely *not* what should be in that tarball..
Probably something wrong in the process of managing the CVS snapshot on
Sourceforge side. Anyway, nothing we can help.
Instead, retreive the CVS using cvs, it will be much more usefull.
