Problems with the menu in xfce

Hi,
This is a wild guess, but I think I heard of it before, it sounds a bit
like the panel is positioned off the screen in the right corner. The
default position is (-1,-1) and the panel is supposed to notice this and
center the panel on the bottom of the screen.
I'm not sure what the solution is. You coud try to drag the visible part
of the panel to the left while holding down Alt. Another possibility is
to try and find the position settings in the config file and change
them to (0,0); this must be done before starting xfce of course.
