xfce fails to restart applications

I know, that in some other Window Managers and their session managment
systems, are problems for example with Mozilla and Galeon. These
session managers save information about "mozilla-bin" or "galeon-bin"
and they try to restart them this way. But - when you run galeon, you
type something like "galeon" - this runs the script, wich sets some
variables and then run "galeon-bin". Session managment saves
information about "galeon-bin" and then it tries to restart it - but -
it won't run, without the variables from the script...

But - strange is, that I had these problems with OTHER window managers
then XFCE - for example - Window Maker or so... So I liked much XFCE,
because it handles it well...

On Window Maker, I copied the variable sets from the script "galeon"
to my bash_rc... They are similar for galeon and mozilla...

I don't know, if this can help somebody, but maybe it is some clue.
:-)

But I definitelly not understand, why it works this nice way on my
computer and in some other strange way on others... :-)
