WHOOPS , Yeah, that part is green here too, if I remove .Xdefaults from
the action.

Funny thing, in renaming .Xdefaults then naming it back suddenly I
get the behavior I wanted... Bold white and OPTION and FILE appear
yellow, so it appears my problem may be operator error. but also I
should be able to figure out what sets what.  I'll post back if I
figure it out.  (Assuming anyone cares to know)
