pb. with xfce-3.8.16 main menu

I upgraded from xfce-3.8.6 to xfce-3.8.14c and now 3.8.16.
I ran xfce-upgrade. With xfce-3.8.14c and xfce-3.8.16 
I have the problem that I can not launch the applications 
from xfce main menu. From this menu, I can launch xfce builtin 
commands, but none of the other commands. I can not even launch 
xfmouse and xfbackground.

Any idea how to repair that ?
