Another upgrade loss

  In the latest -- 3.8.16 -- I have lost the little "stick-pin" on the
windows. For example, I have a clock/calendar (a small window) in the upper,
right corner of the main desktop. I've always made it stick so it's visible
in all desktops. Now that button is gone.

  Also, the window decorations all appear in 2D and I can no longer find the
setup switch to make them 3D.

  Is it all me?
