Problems after installing MDK 8.2

Problem solved!  Thanks for all the help.  I deleted all the files from the /home file and then re-installed - it works fine now.  As far as why download from RPMFind instead of the home site?  No real reason - just in the habit of downloading almost everything from RPMFind.  Again, thanks to all!
