No, but that won't be much of an advantage since most strings changed.
It's indeed unfortunate the existing translations were lost, but we
had absolutely no idea about their status and some pages were not even
valid any more regarding links and logs. So it's a step back for
translators who already had a translated website, but the advantages
over po files are kinda obvious.
