Hello German translators,
as you know, I ment to keep the German translation stalled until SVN
was to enter a string freeze. Unfortunately, the Xfce release cycle
(doh!) forces me to change that policy as I'll be unavailable from the
15th onwards probably until September (and I seriously hope 4.4.x will
hit the shelfs by that time).
So I'm asking you to send me your proposals now until next Sunday, the
11th, 2 PM CEST. After that I'll go into review mode. If the
contributions are suitable I will commit them afterwards and update the
ChangeLogs. Of course you are going to get credited :-)
Nonetheless, some simple rules:
1) Send diffs only. No po files!
Running a diff on every po file thats
being send to me is very time consuming. And given that I'm on a
somewhat tight schedule .. you get the idea.
2) Make sure your diffs are UTF-8 compliant and that your translations
work corrently. For further information see msgfmt(1).
(Hint: A good UTF-8-ready editor is katoob/vim)
3) Be sure to translate the latest svn ONLY.
Diffs that are not done against the latest svn are going to get
discarded.
4) Send your proposals to moe at xfce.org
.. not to the i18n list. I don't want the list to become crowded with
german translation proposals. I hope you understand that, Daichi!
As always .. thank you in advance for your time and effort.
Regards,
Moritz
