To work on final documentation, i think we are in a sort of feature
freeze (except some end of world bug) so anybody can work on
documentation. If you meant translating the documentation, then we'd
need a English documentation first ;).

About the string freeze, i'd say that after rc1 is released we'll be in
string freeze. The final version being the release candidate without the
bugs.
