According to the i18n.xfce.org wiki -

     http://i18n.xfce.org/wiki/language_maintainers

there are already 3 spanish translators.

The Spanish translations are not too out-of-date:

however as you can see Thunar is not listed in there because
it's a moving target. Check with the other (listed) spanish 
translators and see if they need help or want to share the
work.
