Hi all, 

I've write a small patch that add a checkbox on panel dialog that permit
to to the panel to remain always transparent even if is set as
autohide or when mouse is over...

This patch is from today cvs snapshot.

Some days ago, i've send a very ugly patch directly to jasper, i hope
this is a better one :P

Also, if the patch is against one of the beta releases, it is probably 
outdated for CVS. Panel transparency is removed when the mouse is over 
the panel, so the only thing you can change is whether the hidden panel 
(3px bar) is transparent. I don't think that is worth an option.

You could argue that the hidden panel should be transparent. I have no 
strong opinion about that, actually.

Patch isn't against beta but from cvs checkout 09/11

It's only a small patch over  a personal preference... I like
transparency but when panel is set as autohidden it takes too much
space over my screen, so i prefer that it could be transparent even if
authohide is set.

I've added a checkbox on panel settings dialog "Always transparent",
that if enabled:
1) when autohide is disabled it remains transp even on mouse over...
2) if autohide is enabled it remains always transp..

I would like to invite all active developers and contributors to both 
xfce and lunar to join me tonight in about 2 hours for a discussion. The 
topic will be 'donations' and will include a short introduction from me 
and some explanation why, as well as hopefully followed by a fruitfull 
discussion.

The place: #foo on irc.foo-projects.org
Time: 21:30 CET (that's 15:30 EST I think)

Please attend if you have time. I would urge the xfce main developers to 
attend as this involves the xfce project as well.
