Unfortunately, I cannot test this until it hits Fedora30 which I am on 1.8.11.

I just checked, and there are no pending updates via dnf.

It is so bad here, that I have set up my phone to put everything on the uSD
card and I keep pulling that out and inserting that in my notebook.  Of course
THAT crashes thunar on the auto mount, but it restarts 'easily' (no fun when I
have 6 copies open to different directories).

Oh and I always use Tree view.
