Thanks for your reply Andre.

Right Click on File => Open With...

Same issue happens with Nautilus+Mousepad, HOWEVER, using Geany in both Thunar
and Nautilus opens the file correctly. To try another option, I used Atom to
test the same scenario, it will open Atom up and focus the window... no crash
happens and no file is opened from the remote FTP.
