given that moving the bits from bug #16138 inside pango 1.44 check fixed the
problem for us when we were using 1.42, and updating to pango 1.44 made the bug
resurface, and as sebastien says disabling

it again, i'd say there's a potential memory corruption directly inside the
thunar pango extensions code ?
