Steps to reproduce:

1. Boot into xubuntu-19.10-desktop-amd64.iso on your PC or in a VM. (18.04 LTS
works as well)
2. Create a file on the desktop, like 'Plain Text.txt'
3. Hit Shift+Delete
4. Wait for 30 seconds until the timeout error appears.
