Sorry, currently I dont have time to look into this.

Install the Top 10 LInux gui file managers, and try how they behave. (E.g.
dolphin, nautilus, nemo, caja, pcmanfm, ..)
Do they behave the same ? Or maybe all gtk file managers behave the same ?
Possibly there is some common way we could follow ?
