Icon view or size doesn't matter for Matrilineare, but Thunar needs to be
refreshed (ctrl+r) to make sure icons are picked up.

I'm starting to suspect this may be in part a theme issue.

My results are:
Adwaita/GNOME/High Contrast - only .docx icon look different, xfdesktop seems
to pick the right one
elementary Xfce/Faenza/Moka - icons look the same on both
Matrilineare - completely different, hard to tell which one is right, but looks
like it's xfdesktop
