            Bug ID: 15959
Summary: Option for automatic disabling of the touchpad when a
mouse is plugged in the computer
    Classification: Xfce Core
           Product: Xfce4-settings
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Medium
         Component: Mouse Settings
          Assignee: xfce-bugs at xfce.org
          Reporter: hmslima1992 at gmail.com
  Target Milestone: Future

In the same way that it's obvious that there should be separate profiles of
sound settings for when you have earphones/headphones plugged or not plugged in
the computer (a feature that XFCE already has), there should be separate
profiles of touchpad settings for when a mouse is connected or not to the
computer. If I already have a mouse plugged in my computer, why I want my
touchpad to be active, a thing that only will bring annoyance to meĀ¹? And for
those who want that both mouse and touchpad are active at the same time, they
could have an GUI option to leave both things in this way.

I can imagine it in the Mouse and Touchpad settings, a checkbox with the option
"Disable touchpad when mouse is plugged in"
