How I fixed this?

Downloaded sources from Slackware:
https://mirrors.slackware.com/slackware/slackware64-14.2/source/l/cairo/

Edited the source C file "cairo-1.14.6/src/cairo-scaled-font.c", and added code
from:
https://cgit.freedesktop.org/cairo/commit/?id=5fd0b8710f125bb33c55d75fcc8252996b403e2d

After that I just compiled, installed and rebooted!
