Menu entries are desktop files generally in /usr/share/applications,
/usr/local/share/applications and $HOME/.local/share/applications. With
xfce4-appfinder it's possible to know the location of the desktop file, just
hover an entry. It also allows entries to be hidden (right click -> hide).
