Hah, finally I can reproduce your problem .. thunar shows this bug only when
started via the tpa-plugin ! .. will see if I can figure out the cause.

Meanwhile I fixed this other bug "not possible to empty trash via pathbar
context menu" for master and 4.14 branch:
