            Bug ID: 15412
Summary: Problem With Icon Theme Compatibility
    Classification: Xfce Core
           Product: Xfce4-settings
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Medium
         Component: Settings Manager
          Assignee: xfce-bugs at xfce.org
          Reporter: reece.dews at gmail.com
  Target Milestone: Xfce 4.14

I've used the Numix Circle Icon theme for a long time, big fan of consistent
icon shapes.
Within the settings manager of XFCE with this icon theme applied there are some
icons missing, specifically:

- Display
- Removable Drivers and Media
- MIME Type Editor

I reported the issue first to the Numix team here (with screenshots of the
issue): https://github.com/numixproject/numix-icon-theme-circle/issues/111
The response I got was: "Those icons aren't missing,
it's that those parts of the settings have been written to use an icon name
which is used elsewhere (e.g. the drives setting uses the hard drive locations
icon, rather than a "settings-harddrive" icon. This unfortunately isn't
something we'd be able to solve on our end but if it's ever fixed upstream we'd
be more than happy to cover them :)"

I'm new to bug reporting but I love XFCE and want to help out, as this isn't a
huge issue and is very niche and specific, I'm under no illusions you
guys/girls are inclined to fix this. However, I thought it would be good to
report anyway to bring it to your attention.

Thank you for your time, hopefully my noobiness isn't insulting.
