You can replace the hardcoded bookmarks with normal ones. Simply drag-and-drop
the locations from the main view or the tab bar to the side pane. Then hide the
unneeded entries via right-click on the group name ("Places").

Note: the bookmark for "trash:///" needs to be renamed manually. Also, it will
show the wrong icon and lack the "Empty Trash" context menu entry.
