However I cannot reproduce the bug here on my nfs. Tried with a path of 12
sub-folders.

What do you mean by "deep paths" / How deep you need to go to trigger the bug ?
Does it happen for all deep pathes, or only for a very specific one ? 
Does it always stop at a specific folder ? On which folder ?

Can you past the problematic path here, if it is only one a specific one ?
