Bug ID: 16250
Summary: xfce4-display-settings restore a completely different
setting than the one that was saved...
Classification: Xfce Core
Product: Xfce4-settings
Version: unspecified
Hardware: Other
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: Medium
Component: Display Settings
Assignee: xfce-bugs at xfce.org

Target Milestone: Xfce 4.14
Hi,
I recently dist-upgraded from XUbuntu 19.04 to 19.10.
In xfce4-display-settings, there is a new tab/panel called "advanced", that
allows to save/restore a multi-monitor arrangement&config. This is a very nice
feature, that I needed for a long time.
Unfortunately, it does not work as intended...
Indeed, I have an external monitor positioned on the left of my laptop, both
with the 1920x1080 resolution. I saved this arrangement&config, but when I put
the laptop in suspend mode with the lid, then reopen it, the configuration that
is restored is with the external monitor on the right and with a resolution of
800x600... This has nothing to do with the config that I saved!!!
