xfwm4-tweaks-settings → Compositor → Un-check "Enable display compositing"

(but I really doubt it's a compositing issue, if it were, you'd see nothing on
screen - It really looks like a grab issue, i.e. something keeps a grab on the
keyboard/mouse and prevents from any other user interaction, and the client
that last had a grab in that case would be lightdm...)

Sure, lightdm/light-locker are not Manjaro.
